Proceviri is a program that translates all kinds of texts from English to Turkish. The vocabulary is richб and the words are taken from almost all spheres of everyday life. The program offers a complex recognition system. This means that even if there is a word that missing from the vocabulary, it can derive its meaning from the root of other similar words. It also recognizes slang, idioms, and obsolete words.
The user interface is easy to use and very practical. The translation process is very simple. You simply click on the word, and the translation appears instantly. There is an option for you to manually add words that are not in the dictionary. That is great, especially if you are translating difficult texts. Proceviri can also translate a text from Internet Explorer. Technical texts are not covered yet by Proceviri.
The user-assisted translation feature also allows you to choose which meaning of the word is the most appropriate. For example, a word that has two meanings can be defined as a verb or as a noun. The translation speed is also phenomenal. It takes seconds for a word to be translated.
Proceviri 2.0 is much better than other translators are. The translation is much more realistic and adequate to the original meaning of the text. The program is shareware, but I think that it is worth downloading and installing, especially if you are Turkish and do not speak much English. The demo verson will not translate all words.
